hello counselor, my hate for ND runs deep and true, never really liked them from a sports perspective, overrated, first to get their own TV network(NBC,) blah, blah, blah, but what sealed the deal for me was when I left to go do some stuff for my uncle(Sam) a guy that lived a couple of houses down(Notre Dame alum and married to a local news anchor,) decided he'd go offer up some consolation/companionship to my wife

Pepper jelly is big in Texas. My next door neighbor in UP makes homemade jellies. He gives me pepper jelly every Christmas - it is stellar.

On my Dad's place, there is an old pole barn where feed is stored in two interior rooms. We used to stack square bales there too. When I was in high school, I went up to the barn at night. When I flipped on the light, there after that).were rats everywhere (the barn cat had been dead a while).
I went back to the house and got the .22. I blasted a bunch of rats that night (and my brother shot many more),
ETA: The barn was pretty tall and there were support beams between some of the taller poles. The rats would run up and down the beams, making them a perfect target.

precisely! my wife feeds the birds and squirrels in the back yard every morning which of course attracts the rodents, I love watching the hawk settle into the trees above and just sit there waiting for his pick(s) those things are swift and deadly

I’d much rather the snakes. I’m the snake saver at the barn. Mice are destructive.
