A friend of mine had a temp work assignment in Grand Rapids, MI. His wife and young daughter came to visit and they decided to make a day trip to Lake Michigan. Parents were sitting on the beach while daughter played in the water. He said after about 15 minutes the daughter walked up to them and she had already turned blue.

Still really pretty out there and lots to do. I was amazed at just how clear the water is in that lake. Not a bad place to get married at. I'm sure it will be a very pretty wedding.

woo hoo!! We have the same thing with the water temp of the Pacific. I tend to go to the beach to play and find a nice heated pool for swimming.
