We could discuss the insane prices of senior portraits nowadays. We just got my son's proofs back and packages start at $200 and go up to $700.

Not really that insane tbh

My senior pictures were like $300-400 iirc. Back in 1996. Found a local photographer that was willing to go to a couple locations and let me have as many outfit changes as I wanted.

But I paid for my pictures myself with money from my job.

It's still stupid that pictures cost that damn much as far as I'm concerned. And we still have his football pictures to buy. Not to mention the letterman jacket we've already bought. Then there will be senior prom coming up next spring. And lord know what else I'm not even thinking of right now.

i don't read books....aubrey wore out the battery in her kindle, ordered a new battery from amazon, and now has to order a special tool to get to the battery...that's why i don't read books.
