It is what it is. Being that they died while I was still a baby, I don't remember my mother or father any more than I remember your parents.

Mine is.

Wish I could say the same. I've always wondered how life would have been different had they not had a blowout that night.

What do you think the were saying when they saw you die? I bet they were happy they would get to meet you again...and then you pulled the ole....bait and switch on them...

His name is Jolly and he's quite the lovable lug. He can now jump up in my lap on the sofa. Sometimes he just jumps up on the sofa and waits for me to come back from outside. It looks like he's smiling at me.

With a name like Jolly I would hope so. My grandmother had a Mastiff named Beaga (tiny), so even if he wasn't a loveable lug the name could have still worked. I'm glad it fits him though.

Did she leave you her jeans in her will?

Im sure they were dissapointed. But on the other hand my wife and kids were quite estatic and relieved when I woke up.
All kidding aside about me dying, that's the one thing that bothers me. My wife was in the room and saw it happen. She had to call her mom and get my 8yr old daughter and 15 year old son down there to first tell them I was gone and then right after that to tell them I was still here but in another heart surgery to try and save me. They went through hell throughout that night. I was totally out of it, don't remember a thing. They on the other hand do. And I feel terrible for putting them through it.
And to make matters worse, my wife lost her father when she was a teen during open heart surgery. They put him under and he never woke up. The stress on her from all this has been incredible.
(Ok, enough serious talk, back to the ha-ha's)
