we had one. its name was prick.
they are nocturnal so you never see them. they tend to get out and make noise in the middle of the night. they spit all over themselves, and you cant really touch them.
I would not recommend one as a pet.

My hamsters were nocturnal as well as all desert rodents.

Yeah when I showed the fb picture of my friend's new hedgehog my husband commented "that has to be a bad idea for a pet"


They are cute though. My friend has 3 dogs...can only imagine their reaction to the hedgehog.

Afternoon All.

Dinner is homemade meatloaf with garlic mashed pertaters and the finest box wine my rouses had to offer. Cabernet of course.

I'm home and off work so obviously no pants.

No. put they will do the weird thing where they jerk forward really fast in an effort to stick you with their nasty spit quills.
