Game time finally announced

I'm supposed to go in to work tonight. That might be a bad idea. Can't miss our first game of the tourney!

Hey GRT, I saw you quoted one of the great songs from my younger days earlier, da dip. Let's see how hip you really are/were. Do you remember this absolute banger from back in the day?...

I forgot all about that song and then a couple days ago the YouTube algorithm felt I needed a reminder of it and I've been playing it nonstop since (shhh, don't tell anyone) . It's one of those guilty pleasure songs for me.

Yeah, I remember that song

I was about 18 when it came out - so it was playing everywhere I was going …

Reminds me that I’m thankful smartphones were not around then

I haven't. I plan to go on a cruise Sunday. Can't decide exactly where I want to go, but Coronado sounds like a good spot now that you mention it. I think they usually have farmer's markets at a couple different spots there on Sundays too.

When I lived in IB (imperial Beach) I would always go walk/run to Coronado on that track they have and it's such a relaxing little journey. I miss living down that way. The Tijuana estuary was my daily walk. Was always fun going there and trying to spot different wildlife.

I really need to get back to that.

The nostalgia that brought up when I heard it again was pretty crazy

Amen to that! I remember in highschool we were impressed we finally had phones with cameras, but obviously it was nothing to the level it is nowadays.

You ever drive up to the Mt Soledad Memorial in La Jolla? My wife and I picnic up there every time we’re out that way. Beautiful views. Very peaceful

Beautiful pics.

I've actually been up that way quite a bit. A chick I used to talk to when I first moved out here lived up that way. I also used to go to a church up there off Soledad mountain road

no pics. You'll have to use your imagination. She's an Old Miss grad though.

I think she just had a baby fairly recently.
