Skillet's World Famous Chili Cheese Dogs recipe
Nathan’s all beef hot dogs, on outdoor grill. Once done with nice grill marks, take them off. Put open bun on grate and lightly toast, maybe 1 minute. Remove.
Dog in toasted bun, one very light line of mustard down length of dog, generous amount of chili on top, then very generous amount of finely grated sharp cheddar on top that. Then add 3 squiggly lines of squeezy sweet relish for the piece de resistance.
Pop it in microwave and hit the fricking popcorn button. That heats the cheese and gets a good melt started, but maintains the toasted nature of the bun. Otherwise bread gets soggy.
And for the coup de grace, add a runny side up fried egg
on top....My cc dog is so gat damn good, your tongue will btf out your mouth while eating it.
