Next time you have her chained up in your basement, don't let her go. Think of it as a public service.

A DNP program is different from a BSN or even a masters program. It’s not traditional “clinical” hours. Just implementing a project. I implemented where I work.

You may want to research your lies

The Post Master's DNP program requires a minimum of 75 credit hours and a minimum of 1000 clinical hours for degree completion.

What track did you take?

quote:

Clinical placement is the required clinical education component of Baylor University’s Online Doctor of Nursing Practice program (DNP). Clinicals work closely with the classroom-based coursework to prepare you for your future as a Doctor of Nursing Practice providing primary care in the field.

Baylor University is proud to provide Clinical Placement Support Services for the Online Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) - Family Nurse Practitioner, Neonatal Nurse Practitioner, Nurse-Midwifery, and Pediatric Nurse Practitioner tracks, as well as the Distance ABSN program. Our goal is to facilitate the most comprehensive high-quality clinical placement experience to help you apply newly gained knowledge, values and skills from the classroom into the field. We have taken the stress out of the process so that you can focus on your coursework and are prepared and equipped to be a change agent in your field.

quote:

As an Online DNP student, you will have the opportunity to work directly with a Clinical Placement Coordinator who will secure a clinical site and match you with a preceptor for all clinical rotations, based on your area of interest. These Coordinators will:

Provide a nuanced assessment of your professional goals to identify a preceptor and an ideal work environment in your local area (e.g. hospitals, community clinics, or private practice).
Work closely with you to identify academic areas of interest and connect you with clinical expertise that is the best fit (family nursing, neonatal nursing, or midwifery).
Prepare you prior to the practicum by providing a realistic idea of the work that you will be doing and ensuring that you are ready to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
