That sounds like a good time but remember hydration is your friend. The older you get the harder it is to recover from the hangovers. I had to take one of my ex's best friends home one morning after a wild night I was was hurting so bad I wrecked into a ditch. That shite sucked. That pain I will never forget.

My motto is "hydration is the key to life" and I grew up in the desert so I think that helps a lot!

I used to visit my dad during the summers in Palm Desert, Ca. I get what you are saying. I did love it in the valley though.

Palm Desert is nothing! Was it you that posted the US cities with the most days over 100 degrees? Phoenix was at I think 107 and the next highest was like 31!

Maybe but thats still only one every 3 days of the summer and for most places that is a ton, in AZ EVERY SINGLE frickING DAY and more is over 100. That shite is brutal, you really can't understand it until you live it.

I believe you, I've been out there for limited periods of time. It's awful.

I do remember chilly low's in the 50's going to work and coming home in the evenings when it was 114 degrees though. Now that was a temperature change.

Being a man of a different complexion, I don't see eye to eye with 480 on many things. That said, the motherfricker knows how to have a good time, and I trust him when it comes to booze, sex, and drugs. Party on, my man, and if you're ever in the Arcadia area of Phoenix, say hi to my dad if you see him

It goes for 100+ days in a row, you have to spend time in San Diego each summer or you will go crazy

Ya the Sonoran Desert outside of Phoenix is just hot every second of the summer, as you get into Cali it is blazing during the day but at least you have relief at night. There its 100+ during the day and sweatshirts at night, here its 100+ at midnight!

Last day I ever jogged was down Indian school in September one morning. The temp seemed to go from 75 to 95 in about 30 seconds. That taught my Bay Area arse a lesson about a half mile into it.

San Diego

Favorite city.

I was there several times throughout my life including a year there when I was in the military. Perfect weather, beaches, babes just didn't have OT baller money then or I would have stayed. FACT.
fwiw: first exposure to the ghey life style. Myself and my bro went to Balboa park I told my bro look dem guys playing volleyball cool. As I watched I saw this one dude full on give this other fella a full tongue kiss. I was like damn time to move along

It must have been from 5am to 5:01am! BTW your last comment mentioned race and as I always judge everyone on their own merit, I just acknowledge differences in race. That being said.....if your dad lives in Arcadia and you live in the Bay Area and jog down Indian School you guys are probably doing something right and I think even higher of you guys for succeeding while having a harder time making it, which I admit other races than whites have.

I don't know what your field is, medical and construction are HUGE out here, but there are tons of jobs. Its pretty easy to have a decent life here, not hard to really do well.
