I want to update my LSU license plate from the older generation with toonces on it to the current one, but I'd like to number to remain the same.

Can the same number be kept, and if so, how do I do it?

Contacting the dmv would probably be my first move.

I'm curious as well about this. I have a very old one and the numbers are fading.

I just registered my jeep I bought. The lady saw my LSU shirt and hat I guess, and asked if I wanted a LSU one. Did I pay extra for it? I didn't even ask
