Those were tantrums. Just like the one you are throwing now. Grow up.

Or you guys can quit acting like children and stop throwing tantrums. Good Lord you are going to have a hard time when you get out of school. I am ashamed of PMH today.

First, lawyers are overall a very liberal group so no surprise there. Second, I am afraid to say that this generation leans very liberal. They are unchurched and easily persuaded by their college professors to vote liberal.

I seriously doubt that. My classmates that signed the petition are generally extremely respectful and voice well-thought out, well-supported opinions. They’re not a bunch of ignoramouses. Hence why I would be happy to accept any invitation to meet and speak in person. Name the time and place, and I will be there. Those signers aren’t just a bunch of faceless internet armchair SJW’s, those are friends and colleagues for whom I have the utmost respect for, especially when I disagree with them. I welcome them to share the basis for their opinions on why this action is needed and justified.

Are you saying that banning Scalia is a well thought out opinion? Because it's not. It's 100% reactionary.

I’m talking about the specific students. None of the current 3L class was at LSU when Scalia came.

You should be ashamed. When we used to walk to PMH in the snow barefoot ....we would have been preparing for bikini junglefest and getting the slip and slide properly placed. Not whining about graduation speakers and meeting at chimes to have a smug-fest. The 3Ls need to stop taking themselves so seriously. Y'all aren't special. At all.

PLEASE post a list of the signees so we can make sure that the best law firms in this state pay NO attention to their resumes and desires for internships.

California and NY can absorb their mindless idiocy.

Paul Baier allegedly kidnapped Scalia for hours that day.

True

He also brought Scalia to the E.D. White House in Thibodeaux.

Seriously. I can understand not being thrilled about Scalise speaking. But goddamn, people. Life is tough. Just go to your graduation, listen to him speak or ignore him, get drunk with friends and family and then get back to the books because you just wasted a day of bar prep for a pointless ceremony, dumbass.

What a disgrace. And the really scary thing? LSU Law is consistently ranked one of the top 10 most conservative law schools in the country. That should tell you all you need to know about the sorry state of academia in this country.

This will never happen as long as government is as powerful and controls as much of our lives as it does now.

There's too much money and power at stake to not try and utterly destroy the other side.
I can't understand why some special interest groups want to control so much of someone else's life. Why can't I just live as an individual as long as I'm not a physical threat or harming anyone else? Let me do me and you do you.

Who the hell ranks levels of conservatism in law schools? This is the first I've heard of such a list.

Because being an individual living your own life is anathema to communism.

Scalise got himself elected to the Louisiana State Legislature and subsequently to the U.S. House of Reps. Beyond that, not much of note. Scalise may be a nice enough guy. But he isn't exactly a person of remarkable accomplishment in life or of exemplary intellect.
