1. Sell naming rights to Tiger Stadium;
2. Close most of LSU campus and move 85% to online format;
3. Rent out other buildings to private businesses;
End 70% of sports programs because they lose money. Cut 60% of programs - stick with most popular via online offerings. Embrace football entirely - dorms closest to football will be rented as 'game day' condos.
This is supposed to turn LSU from money drain, to money maker. They want to attract students all over the world, and use the football program as the driver. Enrollment will increase, and faculty will all be part-time, not on-site because it is online.
And you thought lawmakers were dumb!
It will be sold as a new 'technology centric' race neutral university. But really it will be a fancy online university with a huge football program. It is supposed to save $150 million per year, and make $180 million per year, netting over $330 million per year, or more.

I am pretty sure they can put together a few classes, even something online to get the required credits. Do you have to problem solve at your job or do you just do nothing all day?
If you are telling me LSU will have to cut their budget some then if football is cancelled it will have to be cut further.

Raise LSU tuition. Look at all the luxury condos around LSU. These people have the money to pay more for school.
