Makes sense Fox would try to blame it on Obama.

If he's the best on earth, why don't they have him playing center snare?

ETA: Best snare drummer on earth was Marty Hurley (RIP Marty )

I watch Fox News. There is a lot of stupidity on Fox, but Fox and Friends is just stocked with total morons. Granted, so are all the other morning shows.

That show really does make Fox look stupid time after time. If I were a republican I would be embarrassed by it and want it to be removed.

No doubt Jeff's the best on earth. Just wondering why they don't have him at center snare.
He mentioned his affiliation with Phantom Regiment.

Was that pre Hurley days?

Yep Troy was at Auburn for a good while. I used to take lessons from both Jeff and Marty Hurley.

Jeff was arrogant in his younger years but has gotten more down to earth as he got older. He still has chops! I kind of wish one of those old school Hurley-ites would come back to LSU and teach the current drumline.

RIP Marty

I took lessons on the weekends from Marty when I went to Stanislaus(around '90-'93)
I'd just go to the band hall at BMHS early on Saturday morning.
Youngest ever to make the snare line at Stanislaus.
He was an institution.

Do you still keep that left pinky cocked in?

Anybody who learned under him plays that way.

Why do people default to getting a lawyer these days? He wasn't actually hurt beyond a few small scratches by his own admission. People like you suing everyone is the reason we can't go anywhere or do anything anymore without lawyers looking over our shoulder drooling for a payout.

Lawsuits also play a role in discouraging dumbassery. As it stands now. Fox is embarassed, but that will eventually blow over. Actual money damages will focus their attention and they'll think twice about doing something stupid next time.
