You are correct, my mistake

The modern renderings were scrapped. It's going to match the traditional feel of campus.

The realities of essentially rebuilding an entire building while it remains in use. Theyve told us to expect 4 years

Patrick F Taylor was a fricking god. He was a badass louisiana oilman, entrepreneur, and philanthropist. And people would rather cling to the lame arse name "CEBA"? I never understand the mindset of some of you dweebs.

I found this picture ~2011. It just took me a good 15 min to find it again. It's small but does anyone know if they plan to go forward with this building? I believe they were going to demo the forestry building and replace it with this Engineering Building. It's been awhile so I can't remember much details

Checked the link. That's the ChemE building. It's going right next to new CEBA. In faculty lot

Nope. Old forestry and the snack shop are being torn down and that will be green space. The food service will be moved into the building.

Every time we do work on campus we get hammered on the 'Campus Standards'...Terracotta Tile / Yellow Conrete look.
That being said, on the outskirts of campus they tend to be able to get away from the core arch. standards of LSU

They opened the new business building the semester after I switched from finance to engineering. Then I'll graduate and the new engineering building will open.
I'm doomed to be stuck in CEBA

I know right. There'll be renovations the rest of the time I'm here

Why do you have to make a rude comment in response to most of my posts? You're like a yappy dog that won't shut up.

The good news is, you will come back to the campus one day and get a great deal of pleasure at how much better it is than you remember.
Take it from me. It's an awesome feeling.
