The colors, arches, roof pitches and tiles are all of the central campus.

It's really just those glass walls that everyone thinks are shite.

Where Pleasant Hall is? Doubt that happens. i suggest that we demo Lockett & reconfigure that whole area or put it on the other side of Atkinson Hall (School of Architecture) where all those warehouses/art studios are. Shift Campus Drive south a little bit and we're all good in the hood

IIRC the holdup with renovating Middleton was LSU could not afford to close it. So a new building in a new location, while keeping Middleton open, makes sense.

I just looked at the map and pulled a location outta my arse.

I like the interior, the arches, & tiled roof but am not a fan of the sharp roof line & the bamboo glass

The libary needs to be moved somewhere and the quad area needs to be opened back up fosho. I'd pay $50 a semester to see it done

Nah, if you wander around enough, eventually David Bowie will come walking on the ceiling playing with a silver ball to guide you out.

Original quad was designed in a cruciform by the Olmsted group.

I'm not sure renovating Middleton is the answer. I think it not only needs to be torn down, but relocated as well. On the other side of the Parade Ground from the Union would be my preference, with a parking garage built in.

I think at the very least, they need to do something to the outside. It's ugly as sin and I can't stand it.

Gross yellowish bricks on the upper floors with bright orange tile on the ground floor?

Just imagine how awesome the area would look if we opened it back up & the cruciform restored, this pic was taken in 1927

I don't think I've ever really studied there. The thermostat seems like it's permanently set on 55.

If I study anywhere besides my apartment, it's in the ChE building. Home Sweet Home. /

I was suppose to graduate this May but that's not happening. I decided mid-sophmore year a 3.22 GPA in Biology wasn't going to get me in med-school so I'm a little far behind.

I wasn't trying to be stuck teaching high school biology
