Had a fraternity brother from NO fail out of Fayetteville. Dean’s list LSU. He said it was because LSU let him use his crayons.

A fat person in the 80’s would be skinny by todays standard.

Were the chicks pretty uninhibited? I get the feeling it was a simpler time and they were probably happier and less worried about garbage like social media/photos hence more action
Girls were still girls. They didn’t drop trow just for anyone. You had to work for it some.

I remember cops, but they would let you slide most of the time.

One of the funniest nights I remember was at Murphy's quarter draft night watching this hot blond sorority girl keep going up to the bar, writing a check to Murphy's for $.25 every timeshe wanted a drink...
After about 5 or 6 times, there was a crowd watching...

Not sure. It was a place near the strip club. Basically across the street on the left. Many years have passed since then.

These stories have me wanting to return to undergrad for another degree, knowing everything I know now about how the game works! I’d pledge a frat and all lol old school vibes…

The late 80’s were pretty good. Chris Jackson and Shaquille came around. Hodson as well. I stuck in Tigerland for awhile building my career. Harvey Williams lived in the complex with me. His 300zx stood out.

Well, there were no admissions standards and the drinking age was 18. As a result most students failed out of LSU after their second semester.

18 years old. Sports Illustrated pile driver, triple shot of Dobra Vodka and Sunny D $1. With $5, you were a King. 39 cent hamburger stand to finish off the night.
Every time I hear The Cure “A Night Like This” playing I’m back at Sports.

My 84 class was the last to enter without restrictions. If you tested into College Algebra you were in. Even then you could take remedial and still enter. There is a reason I went Journalism because math wasn’t a requirement

The owner of that strip club (Sugar’s?) used to come into Zack’s frozen yogurt for smoothies when I worked there. She invited us all for free drinks and we went once. For lunch on a Sunday. Lol.
Ahhh the innocent decadence of youth.

Don't forget Friday beat the clock at Cillies (sp)....
10cent mixed drinks starting at noon, going up in 10cent increments every hour ..... it made going back to the cafeteria for dinner hammered an interesting adventure...
