It already kind of is, look at Oretha Castle Haley. 10 years ago you would be stupid to drive down there. Now that stretch has some pretty nice restaurant options.

Meh, I’m not worried about LaToya, not a fan of hers but also don’t think much is going to change. I’ll be okay in my West Riverside pocket getting raped by property taxes and awful streets.

The lower garden district is fine. It's not like they're replacing a bunch of local places with Burger King and Joseph A. Bank. It ain't ever gonna become Metairie. I live uptown and I love the renaissance the neighborhood has had since Katrina.
