To the criminal element in our community-we do not fear you. We are not your punching bag and we will not simply stand by and accept your verbal or physical assaults. No matter what craziness occurs, we will always protect our citizens and ourselves. No matter how weak our criminal justice system, we will hunt you down again and again until they put you away or you go away. No matter how weak our policies we will find a way to make you understand that Louisville isn't where you want to live. Most importantly, though, take note of the following: If you actively resist or assault us, we will use every option available to take you into custody. If you use deadly force against us or use or attempt to use a dangerous instrument or deadly weapon against us, we will use deadly force against you and we WILL stop the threat to us, our fellow officers or the citizens we serve.

Communities and cops are sick of the thug bull shite of which you apparently disagree with for some reason. Why should Louisville turn into some cesspool like Baltimore where the cops have just given up?

Being respectful of the citizenry which provides you with funding and abandoning one's duty are not the same thing. Don't tell any representative of the Executive branch though- they make it clear that either you give them 100% control and compliance or they will disregard their duties and you'll be left on your own. They'll still get paid all the same and they really DGAF about your rights, justice, etc..

Your flawed logic and lack of reason regarding events that occur in our society makes you appear stunningly inept. Let me help you. All citizens in Louisville, regardless of race, creed, color, gender or national origin have the SAME rights and responsibilities. No one gets a separate set of rules. Politicians may fear you and your tactics-we do not

Yep, and I'd guess that most of the people praising this dangerous idiot consider themselves "small government conservatives".

Why did you stop the quote there? This was a little later in the paragraph.

quote:

If you refuse to comply or even worse, attack a law enforcement officer, expect to be met with force.

I didn't highlight it because you should expect to be met with force if you attack an officer. That's logical.

Failure to comply with an officer's demands, however, does not warrant force.

what does it warrant? people should be allowed to simply walk away from a cop? that is part of not complying

What says that a citizen is required to comply with an officer?

I dont answer to cops. If I have done nothing wrong I do not have to listen to them or comply.

Because it's optional. There's no burden on me to comply with a cop except when it's legally required of me.

If the cop is acting outside the law, absolutely. The problem though is that most cops think they are god and get to decide the law. Then after the fact change the story to fit any legal lines that were crossed. This happens in far too many police reports. It doesn't help that the courts give their opinion a lot of weight, and too many DA's cut them a break to get their convictions.

you actually sign an agreement in having a license that you will comply.

If Im walking or on my bike, I have made no such concession and DO NOT have to comply.
