I was a big fan of Ivan's, but I can't remember if he managed to rebuild after the hurricane. I know his mental state was already slipping.

Also, full moon tea at Ali Baba's.

At one point she was probably a hot chick doing those tours. Now she probably barely gets work bc the sex appeal aspect is gone. I’m sure most women doing that kind of stuff don’t think about the future loss of income and employment

She definitely does the snorkeling thing though. She took my wife and I out snorkeling while we were on a cruise, maybe 8 years ago. Not so many tats back then. She did a good job, very professional. It was really rough that day and she gave everyone the option of going out or getting a refund. We were the only two that went out. She found us some decent snorkeling in spite of the bad conditions.

Maybe the tats will cover the scars from the melanoma removal?

Ivan's health is not good. It was sort of open last year when I was there. His family is not a help.

Is that a bad thing?

We try to go to JVD and stay a week every year. It is one of our favorite places in the world and we know a lot of people there and among the rest of the BVI. There's nothing like breakfast at Pam's on Anegada and then a day hanging out on the island at Cow Wreck Beach. Don't even get me started on the Willy T.

Not at all. If you've ever come across a very large, bearded man with a thick Alabama accent and an incessant need to talk while drinking rum...

Who gives a frick about melanoma if you get to charter a boat in the BVI nearly every damn day. Some things are worth the risk.
