The insurance has long been on apps. I have that with Geico. I think only certain states allow verification of insurance this way, but I could be wrong. Had a family member once get pulled over and couldn't find their insurance card so i had to tell them how to pull it up on the app.
Glad to see technology being used here.
Highjack, Louisiana is still #2 in highest car insurance in the country and it's so frustrating.

A 2017 study from Insure.com said Louisiana's auto insurance rates trailed only Michigan's and that was before additional rate hikes were approved late last year. Some of those increases were as high as 22 percent. State Senator Sharon Hewitt is attempting to put the brakes on our soaring rates by doing away with something known as the "seat belt gag law." The law prevents a jury from knowing if someone injured in an accident was wearing a seat belt. In short, this law results in higher payments from insurance companies when an accident goes to trial.

Unfortunately, I am not the best at keeping my phone charged....so I think this would probably not be the best idea for me.

Can see some hacker getting a copy of your digital license and selling your ID and license to illegals ........
