Savory got all the hitters.
But if I had to pick final four:
SEMIS:
Old Fashioned v.
King Cake
Fried Oyster Poboy v.
Gumbo (crawfish, jambalaya, and etouffee all right there)
FINALS:
Gumbo v.
Old Fashioned
CHAMP:
GUMBO

Poboy is sort of a waste as its own category. Should have divided savory into casual and more sit down dining categories.

The clear winners are diabetes and cirrhosis, but it's about the journey, not the destination.

I'm not a big dessert guy, but Foster, creme brulee, and bread pudding I could eat for days.

This is a Nola/S.La list, not a Louisiana list. That's fine, but call it what it is. No collard greens, no cornbread, no pork chops, no fried catfish, no pecan pie. Typical insular South Louisiana.

Poboy: No Darrell's Special? wtf?
Savory: No Boudin, cracklin', boudin balls? Pistolettes? Meat pies? Raw oysters?
Cocktails: complete disaster
Gumbo: we talking restaurant gumbo or "ya mamma's gumbo"?

None of that is particularly unique to Louisiana.
Could have included meatpies, though.
