Arkansas roads are much better than LA on average.

So let's say that I'm pulling in $2,500 a week and live in an ok mid grade home with not so fancy vehicles and not a lot of extra shite. After all the bills are paid, I should have several thousand dollars left over for food and savings. Yet, I continue to struggle with bills and still live check to check. My house starts falling apart because I'm so behind I can't afford to maintain it. My vehicles start doing the same thing.
I come to you to ask to borrow money so I can fix my house. Are you still going to give me some money, or are you going to call timeout and ask me what the frick I'm doing with what I'm already making?
I'm going to answer for you with the obvious answer and say the 2nd option. So why are people so amazed that the voters are basically doing the same thing with the state when it comes to these bullshite extra bonds and taxes they want to pass, to pay for _________? My question every time is what the frick are you doing with the tax money you already have?
Other states sure seem to get it right. Why can't Louisiana?

I read an article that showed that there are about 15 states with worse roads that us. Hard to imagine although

I-10 when you cross into Texas from Louisiana is a shite show right now, FWIW.

I've never done meth or have ever been tempted to do so.

You were in wrong lane. Take it nice and easy in the left lane and it’s like a babies arse

Most studies I've found put Louisiana about midway in road quality . All of the show the worst roads are in the northeast. Go find a farm animal to mate with hillbilly
Winter is hell on roads up there

Anyone who downvotes this is a complete and utter idiot, or lives in a damn bubble.
Or they've driven through Mississippi, Alabama, and Arkansas enough to know truly shite roads. There are Parish roads in better shape than parts of I-65 and US-72.

Hwy. 71 between Hwy. 190 and Bunkie is complete shite.

quote:I tend to agree but LA. is in first place for worst roads in my travels over the last 20 years. Its laughable that louisiana politicians promised to fix schools and roads with that lottery and casino money when they were approved. I guess the next thing that will be brought before the voters will be the approval of Marijuana so that those taxes will be used to fund the roads and schools
It's bad I agree, but there are a lot of states with horrible roads. Infrastructure in the US is in bad need of an upgrade.
