Worst part of a cross country drive for me is Tennessee traffic. Nashville, Knoxville, and Chattanooga were all a pain.

This ^^^ 100%. I was shocked how bad Knoxville traffic and surrounding areas are. Two other places I hate are Austin and Lake Charles to Beaumont stretch.

I love it when you’re cruising along at 75 and out of no where everyone slams on the fricking brakes. For NOTHING. No wreck, no dead animal, no ufo’s, no anything. Then as quick as you come to a complete stop it’s off to the races again. And I mean races. It’s like a Christmas tree went green.

I would partially blame the high insurance rates because of personal injury lawyers.

Yes, but our terrible drivers are what creates the market for so many personal injury lawyers in the first place.

Every time I've ever gone out of state I've noticed how much easier the driving is literally everywhere else. We've earned those insurance rates all by ourselves.

People doing 72 in the fast lanes cause the accidents.

No, they really don't as long as they are passing.

The truth is people in this state need to SLOW DOWN. I see it every day, people driving enormous vehicles, on their phone, going 15 over the limit on roads where they know cops won't be.

I've lived in Louisiana, North Carolina, and Idaho. People generally follow the rules of the road in the other states. Here, it's the opposite. I am unsure what it is, but it's almost like people here think they are on their own land and can do whatever is physically possible.

It's infuriating.

Baws in F-150s and Silverados don’t care about the rules of the road it seems. Most of my misadventures on I-10 have been caused by these guys.

Try i10 Vinton LA. To Winnie Texas.

Or try the 285 loop going around Atlanta. The delays on these two will have your patience pushed to the limit and beyond.

I tell people, you wanna know what the intelligence of people are? Drive otr for a few months and you'll see that the majority like 80 percent of us are stupid like the pavement your driving on.

It's not necessarily slowing down(of course use the speed limit) it is the "following distances" that aren't being used correctly that cause 90 percent of accidents. I'm telling you it's following distances.

Okies are the worst drivers. When I lived in Sherman, Texas, the Okies coming into Sherman from Oklahoma loved to turn left from the far right lane.

And don't forget to hit your brakes, and turn and look while you're on the on-ramp to enter the Interstate...

Morons.
correct, many drivers who on ramp onto an interstate act like they are in a residual neighborhood. Your supposed to be at interstate speeds as your on ramping and fit into moving traffic. This is a big issue for us as truckers.

I went there in the mid 80s. The strip was a slowly moving parking lot. Worst Ive ever seen, anywhere.

But there has to be an accident to be a lawsuit.

A fender bender should not warrant an ambulance ride to the ER and multiple visits to a chiropractor.

Try driving I-95 from D.C. through Virginia sometime. Routine parking lots on the interstate for 15-20 minutes at a time, then traffic starts going again. Sometimes there's a fender bender, sometimes it's a butterfly or other phantom cause.

isn’t going 70 versus 80 for five miles a whole lot more efficient than 80 for two miles and sit still for 15 minutes. One is a delay less than a minute

Yesh!

However, once you get away from Baton Rouge and plant traffic, Louisiana traffic is pretty sane.

It’s called Waze

Was the 12 wreck when the police officer got hit
Every unit responded and that’s why they shut the thing down
