We may never know when the peak actually took place in terms of speed of spread because the virus was hear in December and maybe as early as November in some places. There’s a very good chance that we were beyond the peak of spread by the time testing reached high enough levels in mid-late April.

Basically, we will never know if the increase in case count from March to April was solely due to increase in testing. We honestly could have already been at a plateau then in many places.
