Yeah. There’s a reason why several parishes have curfews

What were the Catholics doing and how did you know they were Catholic?

This last Monday JBE said that there were 23 patients in the convention center — it was a “soft opening”. I’ve never heard any further updates although I likely just missed them.

Crawfish boils for Good Friday were everywhere and Easter celebrations today. For the record I have no problem with that but it’s just a fact of life.

There were lines 50 people deep outside of the seafood restaurants on Lake Ave., Friday waiting to buy crawfish.

You didn’t miss anything. There’s nothing to update. The convention center is empty and there’s plenty of empty hospital beds.

So only Catholics boil crawfish? LOL

I know of not a single Catholic Church that is open and doing services right now down this way

Stop with the hyperbole. South Louisiana is predominantly Catholic, and there were no masses being held. There may have been some crawfish boils, but doubtful a lot with significant amounts of people.

They were few and far between.

As for his comment about lines out the door in Bucktown, most of the people who to go to those places are buying already boiled crawfish in smaller than sack sized quantities

True or false, there was three times the activity in south Louisiana this weekend than there was last weekend. If you say that’s not true you’re just naïve.

I buy all my crawfish from schafers and the line was people waiting for live. So much so that they ran out by lunch.....either way you are making my point, those same people were not all out and about the weekend before. Not saying social media is a perfect reflection of the state as a whole but I’ve seen no less than 30 friends with crawfish boils or bbq’s today alone.

We boiled crawfish at home — 2 of our kids came and all three are here today for lunch.

Much calmer than our normal family holidays with nearly 20.

We boiled a sack Friday and finished them off yesterday afternoon. Had a few friends over Saturday afternoon and and yesterday afternoon. Went to a buddies house Friday night. There was only 4 of us and we had a zoom meeting with our other buddies. It was nice getting out and hanging with my pals.

Laying low today with the fam.
