Godless America is the demographic pushing technology, medicine, and science forward
The god fearing portion are the ones sucking on the teat.. over populating, driving up insurance rates and taxes, creating division and war, bootlenecking science and education, etc
and a politician will be as religious as it takes to get the uneducated vote

You don't need religion to be moral. Studies show a clear sign of theist having lesser character/morals than non-believers.

And you sir are ignorant if you believe we can continue on this path if we are borrowing trillions to maintain it.
yes, and that has nothing to do with god. You are an absolute idiot if you think Louisiana appointing a state book will have the slightest impact on the economy.

I hope you guys have read my previous entries about this being a good idea on the federal level. I hope you know the first Europeans came here due to religious problems back home? Do you know why those that came after them fought for freedom from England? Are you aware of the original intent of the freedom of religion amendment? How about how the separation of church and state has been bastardized? How about all the biblical references behind the constitution? 52 of the 55 founding fathers were members of Christian churches. Where do you think they got their thoughts and ideas from?? Even to this day a preacher opens up the session with a prayer. The gov't pays his salary ... not that a prayer does this batch of crooks any good. THAT is where we came from, the beginning of a wonderful thing. Life is grand now? Enjoy it while you can. Obamacare just took a chunk out of it. I'm already paying more for my insurance and my coverage has been cut back. .... and you guys are worried about a useless act of the status of a book !!!!!
What's all of this came from England shite! My ancestors came from France and Holland in the 17th century to escape religious persecution and massacres by ignorant frickers like you. If you and your ilk try to shove your version of the Christian religion on me I will come to your house and shove a red hot fire iron up your arse to even the score from my ancestors. frick you, you scum!
lol

I want to believe the day the Republican Party stops using Christianity as it's foundation is the day this country starts taking steps forward..
but then I remember it's all bullshite until the people have influence on decisions.

If you think this nonsense is anything other than pandering you need to take a serious look at politics.
It's patronizing and it's insulting

I can't find the Alabama State Book.I would hope maybe it's To Kill a Mockingbird since Harper Lee lived her entire life(I believe) in Monroeville,AL.

It isn't what I personally agree with. It is history vs the situation you guys are not aware of. I've indicated our national debt as a point of discussion. Currently = $17,579,654,631,000. How many people in the U.S.A. to pay this down AND WHEN? IT'S STILL CLIMBING!

Ahhh, but here is the funny thing about this. I decide which candidate is better for the job. Only later do I find they are usually people of faith. I NEVER VOTE FOR SOMEONE JUST BECAUSE THEY CLAIM TO BE A CHRISTIAN.

Is part of the constitution which limits the power of try federal government. State governments are free to do what they want in this regard.

No, he's right.
Obesity, disease, incarceration, divorce, adultery, fatherless homes, income, net worth, education, and government aid, to name a few, are statistically worse with Christians/theist, in relation to those that don't follow a religious doctrine

Not that big of a deal. It suits the majority of the state. Shouldn't bother the rest. I do find the amount of people upset pretty amusing.
