Again, ebbs and flows. The markets tank and rebound. The business is fickle.


New Jersey is doing ok for New Jersey, but the top 5 filming choices for producers are all international.

Toronto, UK, Vancouver, Central Europe, then Australia. California is sixth and Georgia is 7 then Jersey at 8. In GA only 3 of 18 crews are working, and while they say they have 20 productions 18 of them are reality shows.

I think you are confusing several different numbers. Productions can get an incentive of up to 40% of their qualified Louisiana Expenditures. Most fall around 30%,

They can sell the tax credit back to the state for 90% of its face value. About 85% go that route. The remaining 15% use the credits against state tax liabilities.
