Sorry for your loss. GSP are great dogs. We have their Hungarian cousins, vizslas and they are the most loving dogs that I've had. I've been in your shoes and understand your grief. Time will heal but not fast enough.

Had a German Short hair growing up, I loved that damn dog. He was a machine when quail hunting, even when not hunting he would point at any random bird. He was smart, loving and loyal.

Here to say I'm sorry for your loss...but I can't read these threads, I get the sads for mine that have gone on. Our dogs have all been such an enriching part of our lives and I'm thankful to have had (and have) them all in our lives.
