Losing the Senses of Taste and Smell

Was at the doctor's office the other day in a room with another patient waiting to give blood samples. Struck up a conversation with this rather scrawny guy and he mentioned that he had lost his ability to taste or smell. I know that would kill a lot of people on this board, including me.
So, which would you rather do without, tasting/smelling or having sex?

This answer is the easiest one of these questions ever.

Well, I've had so much sex with so many women, that it's almost become mundane (it's a burden I've learned to bear). So I think I'd rather keep my sense of taste and smell.

I've lost most of my sense of smell due to allergies, and most of my sense of sex after 30+ years of marriage....I'll take taste for $1000.00, Alex.

I knew a girl in h.s. who had bad sinus issues. She had surgery to fix it and couldn't taste after the fact. Still can't to this day, so I understand. Sucks.

A cousin of mine got hit by a car while he was riding his bike when he was younger. He battled through a tough recovery, but ended up losing his sense of smell because of it. Said he misses the smell of freshly cut grass and BBQ the most.
All that being said, I'd rather live without smell. Gotsta be able to taste the grub and alcoholic beverages

I would eat so healthy if I lost the ability to taste.
