2-3days without sleep

I’m far from a health nut (drink frequently, cigars, 5-6 hr of sleep usually, etc) but damn that can’t be good. At all.

What everyone said. Slow the frick down and go to a doctor. Stress can cause symptoms that look like major diseases, so worrying about that will make it worse.

Get a good several nights of sleep, lay off sugar and caffeine in that time, and get yo arse to the doctor.

extreme sleep deprivation over the last year

If you're stating the truth then you're lucky to be alive. Why do so many people not know that their health depends upon sleep? Actually, your very life is at stake.

If you're sacrificing sleep for work, then stop it. If you have a brain condition that's causing this, then go to a doctor. Now!

Don't wait until you've done permanent, or fatal, damage to your body. Stop being stupid and seek help.

Don’t listen to everyone saying MS. MS is rare and has a lot of very benign copycats.

Stress/anxiety alone, especially combined with sleep deprivation can cause virtually the same symptoms. Please try to take it easy. If you’ve been extra stressed, anxious, losing sleep, you need to take better care of yourself.

Maybe try mindfulness, meditation, or CBT therapy, if that sounds plausible. I went through a long period of anxiety where I got a lot of strange physical/neurological symptoms. Of course, having anxiety, my mind jumped to the worst possible diagnosis- MS. Turns out it was nothing more than a worrisome, negative mind that had me on the fritz for months.

Hope that helps, brother.
