I don’t know. Some of these dudes aren’t exactly loaded. It truly baffles me when I see an 8 or 9 with some fat dude who makes average money. I don’t get it lol.

Have y’all tried counseling? Like others have said, sometimes it takes a few tries (it took two for us, with two different counselors). Divorce might look like an escape hatch but it’s almost never easy and often it’s pretty damn miserable. Not saying that fixing a broken marriage is easy, but it’s definitly worth a shot.

Yup, outside perspective is crazy good. Worked for us, we thought we just weren't in love anymore, nope we just had no literal idea how to have a healthy relationship. Better than ever now.

Average money > no money

Those who are better looking, or have more money, have better prospects than a 32yo hottie.

I used Brian Prendergast and he basically worked miracles in my case. I ended up with everything I wanted. That being said, keep it out of court if at all possible. Go the mediation route with your attorney. It's faster and cheaper.

As long as a guy isn’t dirt broke and has stable work, being a good listener, emotionally available and a good companion goes a long way. Women don’t assess potential partners like guys do.

There are SOME traditional women still. I think Hemp is wrong. He can’t find a traditional girl because he has been chasing after ms. Sorority sloot. Traditional women just don’t want guys that do that.

I said there are exceptions. You aren't wrong.

ETA: Recently had a woman amicably end things after I told her my number, as well as making a benign 'racist' comment.

I just get tired of this board painting all women with a broad brush, but then every other comment is making jokes about “slaying poon” and obviously it isn’t just you.

I don’t want to keep beating a dead horse... but I grew up in a high school that was basically a prep for fraternity life and it has really changed my perspective on such things. There were plenty of girls that were into God and stuff and would have happily settled down with the right guy. And they are attractive. But where were they? every guy just wants to frick. So if they aren’t putting out, it’s on to the next one. So much for traditionalism....???

Again, you're right. I had those opportunities in high school, but I wasn't raised (or rather, expected) to conform to a traditionalist, conservative mindset. I have good friends that married their HS sweetheart and have popped out a few kids, whereas I spent my time doing a variety of drugs, drinking, and fricking everything I possibly could - and no one discouraged me and told me I was behaving like a degenerate. I'm doing better now, and I feel remorse and repentance for my behavior (even though I joke about it here for the sake of comedy; I will never be a moralistic prude), but it is easy to fall in to old habits, especially in regards to women.

Her roommate's fiance was Italian. Cool guy, really liked him. We were playing Cards Against Humanity and he started reading all the possible answers. One of those was Popeye's Chicken.

"Hemp, is Popeye's good?"
"Yeah, it's pretty tasty, but you'll get better service if you're black."

Poll their ages. You'll see something in common.

Maybe, but I am willing to bet a few of them married around that age.

A good woman will make a man forget about "Slayin."

I agree with most of what you said about women, but its laughable to say that the only college students or people in general that get drunk, party, and want to frick the opposite sex are in greek life.

But I certainly agree that banging someone can't be priority #1 for finding a long term relationship.

I've heard this board say multiple times that if a girl now a days doesn't put out by the 3rd date, she's not into you. That's laughable.

I hear you man, I pretty much smoked my high school away instead of trying hard. Same story, my parents were generation x degenerates so they didn’t care what I did. They never sat down and told me that if I didn’t stop screwing up I will screw my life up. Luckily I met a girl junior year who got me in the right mindset before things got really bad and I didn’t completely frick my self for the future. I have a long road ahead but things can only get better. You might not have a girl but you have lots of knowledge and a college degree. Start going to church and trying to meet people. Try to find deeper meaning in life than drugs. I’ve been trying to quit smoking pot but I know it’s not easy, I am sure other drugs would be much harder. Luckily I didn’t get into worse things. I hope you do and are doing well babe, it’s never too late to start your new life. I’m trying hard. I might be leaving my family behind in Texas to start a new journey on the east coast. I’ve gotten burned out on my family and Texas in general. But things will keep going on

Took me 10 years to understand that and even now I find myself correcting some minor dumb things I do.

My upper head agrees with you, but from past experiences, I tend to disagree. However, some, not all, women have changed their tactics.

I don’t know many girls older than 21 that aren’t family. My story was regarding generation z girls. Honestly millennialis might be even worse than my generation
