Parents were being arrested for taking their kids to an empty park. People were being arrested for going to empty beaches. In California sand was dumped onto skate parks to make them unusable.

Were you not paying attention to what was going on?

Kids don’t go outside due to weather it’s because of tv and video games combined with helicopter parents and/or Karen neighbors who call child services if they see a kid playing around the neighborhood unsupervised

Obesity is due to diet, largely too much sugar. Parents are to blame. Tell the child no when they ask for a candy bar or soda and they won’t get fat.

I watched a YouTube video of a woman re-enacting preparing meals in 1820. From gathering eggs, milking the cow, churning the butter, baking the bread, making Johnny cakes with cornmeal, all in cast iron over a fireplace. I thought to myself you know that’s really a lost art to actually prepare meals from scratch like that.

I'm sure kids are fatter in Canada and Ireland too where it's 70 degrees in the summer.

Yeah let's blame anything but our culture itself. The fact that it's 1 degree hotter than 40 years ago is the issue
