The last time I was down there for Mardi Gras weekend I stopped in one of the clubs during the day. I don't think it was Cat's, but they had a girl and guy doing the stage emcee thing. It was a scrawnee arse guy and his annoying girl wearing t-shirts three sizes too big for them. They had done their day shift and some out of town guy came in and got on stage. It was pretty ackward on stage there for a while.

The out of town guy could sing and dance and was a great looking guy and the little punk and the girl were getting pissed that he was trying to steal their show.
