I'm white, male, straight, and have lived a decent life. I've tried to be a motivational speaker as well, but since I'm white, male, and straight, no one will have me.

My girlfriends cousin does a lot of motivational speaking. He signed with USF out of high school as a dual threat QB but got caught up with drugs, left school, and ended up back in Michigan where he stole a car and got caught. GFs aunt is the prosecutor and instead of sending him to jail she made a deal for him to get help at a place in Argentina, and she paid for all his bills to get the help. (His family is really screwed up, cuz Florida, so the GFs Aunt's family basically adopted him...Blind Side style)
He got better, ended up playing for Grand Valley State (a D2 powerhouse) and totally getting his life back on track. Now he's doing a lot of speaking to share his story with at risk kids.
