Did 2 years of this. Birmingham-BR. ~6 hours. You gotta be able to trust and be able to deal with outside pressure. It's very doable if both of you put in the effort though.

It's definitely disappointing when you put a lot of time into something like that and realize once the other person moves in that they are impossible to live with/be around.

Tried it for almost 2 yrs when i enlisted. Cheated my arse off while doing so. Costs a lot to maintain.

Done it before. I gues in the end it didn't work because we aren't together, but I wouldn't blame that on the distance. Know a couple tht recently got married after dating while living in Connecticut and Florida for a while though, so it's doable
