Lockdown at Dutchtown (Geimsar) - Update ALL CLEAR

Apparently, there was/is a lockdown at Dutchtown this morning. I do not know the details of why.
My daughter just called and said all is clear.
I cannot confirm if she received accurate information or not (about being cleared).
Update. All doors are locked. Police presence at Dutchtown Middle and Dutchtown High according to my daughter's friend's mother.

I heard second hand that all the doors are locked, everything blocked off, possible shooter situation.

I go to another high school in the parish, none of my friends are talking about it. Usually they probably would have heard about it

One or two dead bodies have been found by Harvest Supermarket by Candy Land Lane is the report I am hearing.

Sister teaches there. She heard “pops” in the distance and cops are running around in her hall.
Update: lockdown is over now. Apparently the school is safe. Don’t know what pops she claims to have heard though.

Hearing there was a gun man walking down Highway 73, and if what I am hearing is accurate, this is close to Candy Land Lane, and the schools, and makes sense why the schools went to lockdown.

was in a lockdown twice in high school
both times were due to incidents off campus but near campus (shooting once, body found another time)

That was a kid setting a gun off in a car. Got the life flight helicopter out.
