Well, I suddenly feel safer now. 
I wonder if he at least snickered or had a good laugh writing out that press release knowing there are some people stupid enough to believe that bullshite.

Seriously. Up here in Chicago the police just started cracking down on the heroin epidemic hardcore and just writing citations like parking tickets for weed (obviously not for this much quantity)

I know marijuana, in moderation, isn't gonna kill you. But, I have a best friend who's son is the poster child for what it can ultimately lead to.

I can count on three fingers the number of times I have smoked. Its been 6 years since my last time. I don't like it personally, but I will defend someone else's right to. Its no more dangerous than alcohol, yet the police makes tons of money and get to steal other peoples stuff because of it, so they'll spew whatever BS to keep their revenue up.
To your friends son, that's sad, but unless you want to outlaw alcohol too, I don't see the point in keeping it illegal.

That's moderation and ok in my book...plus you're an adult and can make your own decisions.
A 16 y/o that starts with pot, trying to fit in and all that matters is getting that bag and next high....sad thing.

If weed gets legalized the voters will. No more houses, cars, bank accounts to seize and sell, plus losing out on grants for equipment and drug task forces. Violent crime doesn't pay out nearly as well as drugs do.
