Exactly why I didn't like him. Sooo unrealistic.
Don't get me wrong the ones who want to fight put up a tough fight but most don't. Once I started carrying an X26 the simple act of unholstering typically got most of the fighters in order.
The biggest thing they all did was lie. Them and their families. I could be looking at the fugitive and the mom would say he wasn't there.

Do the fighters get assault added to their already pending charges?

Nope. We basically just have to take the licks and move on.
Same thing with drugs and illegal weapons found while we were apprehending them. We honestly couldn't care less. If they weren't kids involved we would turn a blind a eye. We didn't get paid anymore for calling Local PD to deal with the guns or drugs. All it did was take up another 2 or 3 hours.

What am I liable for if I posted bail for someone and they hauled arse? TIA
Posted on 2/13/20 at 2:13 am to supatroopa
Wow.
You are in a position to serve people in trouble who want out.
Is the system for or against them?

If they haul arse and aren't found during the 6 month period you're on the line for the full bail amount. Insurance companies file suit which can lead to wage garnishments if you don't set up a payment plan.
If you provided physical collateral it is automatically forfeited

Honestly it's against them and that's coming from a conservative/independent. I do believe in "You do the crime you do the time" but most crimes are only crimes because of their revenue potential. When you add in the Private Prison industry it's nearly impossible for the justice system to truly seek justice. Life in prison for selling weed just doesn't sit right with me (I know selling weed typically leads to other crimes being committed)
Of course I'm not referring to any violent or real felony charges.
At the end of the day it's all about a dollar! Just like everything else

This! Once they get you in the system, youre fricked.
You can go to jail and have someone ready to bail you out the next morning, trust me, your arse aint leaving until they get paid for feeding you.

Do you talk to the perps about Jesus on the way to jail?

Are your wife's breast implants those large obviously fake beach ball size tits? Or the more natural, subtle looking ones?

Were you in law enforcement before you became a bounty hunter/bondsman?

Not a chance. We do talk about life though and I typically let them choose what music we listen to. Sometimes even stopped and got them food.
A big thing in my head was being decent enough towards these guys to where if they saw me in public with my family I wouldn't have to worry.

No but I did have a crazy amount of resources and connections in law enforcement via family and friends.
