I'm glass-half-empty on my Royals this year

I was smoking my on front porch, and heard a couple guys which sounded like they were trying to break into my neighbors place who, that I've recently started thinking he was slanging something. Then 2 guys and a chick run by. Then a little chubby guy came walking up to me in the dark.

I asked him what the hell he wanted. I'm not usually home around that time, and don't really talk to anyone there that's younger. I was getting ready to throw my coffee in his face if he started acting any sketchier

Apparently he got jumped and those people were trying to get him to let them inside. But he said he didn't even live there, and really didn't know the guy very well. His story wasn't lining up for shite. He said something about they knew where a party was at.

I asked him if he wanted to use a phone. But needed Snapchat, which I don't have. Really, the whole thing seemed so weird, and it was like he was wanting to come inside and hang out, which I definitely wasn't going to do. I'm not getting involved with that shite.

I gave him some Band-Aids, Neosporin, and antibiotic wipes. I then told him I wasn't going to babysit him, and told him good luck. I felt a little like a dick. But the story was so screwed up, I wasn't going to get involved in that situation at all. I figure if nothing was sketchy or involving drugs, and he honestly got hustled and then robbed, then he'd have wanted to call the cops.


Either way, apartments fricking suck.

Yeah, that just happened. I kinda needed to vent a little.

My guess is the guy across the street is slanging something. He was trying to be cool and told those guys he has a hookup, and they planned on robbing the guy. He wasn't home, they couldn't get in, and they jumped the 18 year old, and stole his phone and wallet instead. But the kid even said something about how they also stole his charger, which was just weird to me.

Considering I got rained out at work, had just finished a joint, and had weed on the coffee table, that kid wasn't getting inside.

Kids get crazy in the summer. That's why Nola has been so fricked up lately. It happens every year. Hopefully this dumbass learned a lesson.

And you're right, apartments do suck. I hated when I lived in them.
