I usually contemplate suicide when McNeese comes into town because of those god damn cowbells they bring. They could be losing 20-0 and if they get a single, all those flabby armed moms would start shaking those fricking bells.

Must be you. Last two I've had lasted me 4-5 years each. My latest old one actually still technically works. The hinge on it is broken so can't close it.

let me just offer one suggestion. you all need, at the min, a flash blocker. i use Flashblock on Firefox
the Noscript ad ons are also great, but can be a bit much
a flash blocker alone will save you a ton of headaches and potential security vulnerabilities, and will make your internet experience go a lot faster (b/c you don't be bombarded by load up times for flash ads)
