Yes it didn't work out. Turns out he was a cheating, lying, piece of shite and I'm so much better off without him
I'm just now getting to a point where not knowing what will happen isn't so scary. It's actually kinda exciting. I can do whatever the frick I want now on my own terms. And since the biological clock has been smashed to bits...I can take my time finding someone perfect for Butters and I.

That made me a little sick to read. I’ve been there. It’s a sickening feeling, beyond the anger and pain. It was apparent you were fighting for it so don’t beat yourself up. I’m remarried and yet still healing from the abuse and psychological wounds from my first marriage. Live life and “do you” but also try to find a good therapist and talk every other week to aid in the healing. You deserve better than that, and you can have it.
I didn’t believe in love at all, somewhere around 2014-2015 when I was still married/separated, and it turns out real love is there to be had, but my picker was desperately off.

I've been seeing a therapist for a few years now with all the stuff with my dad. We've just switched to divorce recovery now.
