Oh yeah.
Maybe they just let me have all that jello because I was a kid. Also made me remember what a cheapskate my dad's mom was.

I don't really remember the food. The one in Memphis closed years ago.
My grandmother on my dads' side would try to reuse paper towels. She died with two commas in her bank account. She was so cheap though. Problaby would've lived longer otherwise.

Nothing special....
I have 4 Rose Small Batch, Eagle Rare, Elijah Craig 12 Year, Sazerac Rye, Woodford Reserve, and Bulleit
I've been buying whiskeys/bourbons under 40 right now and will be looking to expand soon.

If you see Corsair, give it a shot

It was incredible, if I could have my friends homemade potato salad every time instead of rice, I would never eat traditional gumbo again.

I've been looking at the 50-100 bottles recently but i have not pulled the plug on what to buy. Usually try for what I see in the bourbon thread on FBD but most of those bottles are 100+

Did you cook that?
If so, hats off to the chef

There is still at least one Piccadilly in Germantown on Exeter.
What's up Jacobi? Did you just get in from protesting?

I assisted but the hats go off to my padnuh, I helped with a dark roux (which I love). I can get you a recipe, it's just on you to get the fresh duck
We cooked for about 20 so had to use some frozen duck breast. The best part is the potato salad, it just melts in with the gumbo.

Yeah. I mean, Duke cleared shite up not long after that, but she did pull some rather tricky shite.
I do apologize for all of that.
How do you feel about rye?
