Well damn that's sounds like alot of coming and going. Glad to hear you enjoying time with your daughter. Mine just turned 18 years old (no pics) and we go to lunch every week and honestly she is more like me than my two sons personality wise that is.

It's actually a dammed up spring. It's called a Merritt's Mill Pond on Marianna, FL. It's apparently one of the most famous cave diving places in the world.
But frick cave diving. I'll strap on tanks and go inside. But I turn around when I see the Grimm Reaper sign.

I have been in a couple of those springs not that particular one but the water is crystal clear and very cold. I remember seeing some people scuba diving but that just isn't my thing. Now snorkeling I am fine with but get me in one of those tight caves No thanks.

I was kidding you are doing the right thing. I went back to school when my kids were young it wasn't easy but I finished and have been better off ever since.

A friend of mine has a little cabin on the Rainbow River in FL.
I've only snorkeled but there are a lot of divers there. Beautiful place. There are caves there too but I've never been in them. I just mostly look at the dinosaur fossils and other rock formations.

Ichenucknee springs is where alot of people I know go. It is pretty cool to just get in a innertube and float down the spring on a hot summer day. Water is cold and you can see the bottom. Did this alot as a kid in Louisiana but I couldn't even see my hand 6 inches under the water.
