Let’s get together for a book of the dark side of military contracting and the men who have hoisted the black flag and spit on their hands

The gods were cruel that hung a man’s weakness between his legs and placed a woman’s strength between hers.

Man, I am a whore. You want to write something, i’m Down. The stories that you have, with a bit of polishing, deserve to be told.

Dedicate it to your bro, or those that have sacrificed, or whoever.

The thing about stories...if they don’t get told, they die in the dirt with us.

It doesn’t matter if a single person reads it. What matters is it gets written. That it exists.

That’s why we have a history and others don’t. It was told. Written down. Preserved.

And we need that. Because one day all this dies. It all goes poof. And everything not saved will die with it. A new dark ages

Just making sure the lights stay on and the kids get fed for now.

About the future, i’m A pessimistic optimist. I refuse to believe that the things I want will happen until they happen, so I won’t be disappointed.

I don’t “work” anymore. Just dealing with a hundred head of red brangus now.

Drinking a good bit of Wolfburn and enjoying life.

I'm not familiar with those terms but I'll guess.

You are a drunken herdsman.

You aren’t starving. You haven’t seen starving. You aren’t even hungry.

When this cold snap happened, and I had nothing else to do, I took the opportunity to hunker down in a makeshift shelter. Felt the cold and tried to escape it. Felt the chill in my bones and soaked up a tiny fraction of what my precursors felt, huddled in frozen, muddy trenches in Europe. With death and gas and earth all around them.

Dirty and disheveled and discombobulated from the hell of war.

We live in the halcyon days now.

Do you still feel the wanderlust?
Does It ever go away?
The draw of grand adventures at the dying of the day?

Just saying, I’ve got stories.

And the few times I’ve went to head shrinkers they looked at me like they neeeed to curl up in a corner after I talked for a while.
