I'm back on coffee again. After 5 hours, The contractor is finally getting to work. It's been Murphy's law for them tonight. I'm going to have a very late night. 6:30 at the earliest.

At somewhere between 9 am and 2 pm, pest control for my complex is coming by. Luckily, dogs must be put away. Because mine is on the restricted breed list (they didn't tell me about breed restrictions until after I had signed a lease, and the deposit was cheap, so I said frick it).

Then Friday morning, I've got to drive 200 miles after a 10-12 hour nightshift, so my cousin can buy a new Jeep. So my next couple of days is going to suck.

I'm fricking amazed that he survived it.

But yeah, it was totaled. But he's actually getting a lot more then he paid for it, so he's about to get an upgraded Rubicon.

I was hoping to do it on the weekend. There's another national Forest near there that I haven't explored yet. The Ozark forest is badass. But I've heard the Ouachita National Forest is supposed to have a lot of cool mineral and rock formations. I find geology to be interesting, and wouldn't mind adding to my very small rock collection.

Usually paddling. But the season on the best rivers is basically over. So now, probably more hiking or swimming. Though we've just driven around Forest Service roads a bunch too.

There's a great app called Avenza Maps, that lets you download tons of USGS and other maps for free (though some do cost $1-3). It then syncs with GPS. It's pretty badass. Though occasionally, we'll accident end up on ATV trails. That's when a Jeep kicks a truck's arse.

I am close to exceeding my data for my phone this month. I never come close to my limit. I checked my data usage looks like my son's have been on my phone on snapchat, instagram, and youtube.

I've had beer with breakfast a couple times. It was always on Mardi Gras day. But I pulled it off and managed to drink for 15-18 hours straight. Though I'm not prepared for that kind of marathon anymore.

My kid lives on Youtube. It eats up data. He uses 80% of ours.

I fricking hate Verizon. But there service is great, and I've had unlimited data for over 8 years.

Looks like I'm at about 95 gigs so far this month. When football starts, I'll be about double that.

technically, cable modems and wired internet should've already become obsolete. But Americans have been getting screwed by telecommunications companies for decades.

I've always preferred weed over alcohol after work, but not everyone enjoys it or is allowed to with work. Drinking at a nightshift is why I hate alcohol laws in most places. Nola and Mobile does it right in that regard.
