Please stop

SSRIs without a mood stabilizer are typically contraindicated in bipolar disorder because it can bring on a manic episode or cause rapid cycling

Motown, I’m glad for you. Bipolar is very underdiagnosed in people with substance abuse issues. But once you get on meds, life is like night and day and you feel better than you ever thought possible

You should call for refills three days ahead of time

Doctors are really busy, especially psychs because they’re in short supply most places

Yeah, my xanax are prn. I haven't taken any in months. Just needed them today.

I finally got through about a quarter to five and he'd already left for the day. Oh well, tomorrow's another day.

You're a brave man for hitting this directly and doing what you can to manage this condition. So many people fight the diagnosis or won't even recognize they have a problem. Good luck with the road ahead.

You're a brave man to post this. Hang in there bud and make sure you stay on those meds. That's the thin line between you and madness.

I understand your situation. I don't have the issues you have but I have self medicated before I was a teenager because of depression and social anxiety (very bad) . Most people don't understand the magnitude of self loathing that some of us go through
