Central is way more redneck than BR

You were joking, right?

My dad has an engineering degree and speaks 4 languages but he chewed Copenhagen and drank Old Milwaukee's tall boys when I was kid. He used to tell me "son, we are educated rednecks"

I understand - my dad had a masters degree, spoke 3 languages, and was from some redneck town in Texas that his illiterate grandpa from
Mississippi moved to to pick cotton

But he drag raced and put away Budweiser’s like there was no tomorrow - how he ever got along with my mother from NOLA I’ll never understand.

2/4 are in Lafayette. I am convinced you are either a troll or a retard.

When I googled them all, none hit in Lafayette. The only one I was iffy on was whether it was Little Veron's, which is where I got little cold vienna sausages from the meat counter as a kid, but not exactly somewhere I would trust with serious cajun food, no. Which is the second that's actually in Lafayette?

There's a Veron's grocery and butcher in Lafayette. The sausage company is in Ascension parish.

I would also like to note for the record that the only positive on this entire fricking thread that anyone has been able to swing is *maybe* there are a couple of decent cajun restaurants/grocery stores in Lafayette. That's it

Schools? fricking name a good public school in Lafayette.
Traffic? fricking stop it. Have you driven through that motherfricker lately? Takes me 25 minutes to get from the interstate to the south side of Lafayette on a good day. 45m on a bad day.
Crime? Again, decade and a half, never come close to being the victim of any crime whatsoever. What happens in Zion affects me not one bit.

So tell me, please, what's so damned great about Lafayette?

They have tons of really pretty and really easy women there, from what I remember of the mid-90s.

Yeah, Little Veron's was a stone's throw from the first house I can remember as a kid. I distinctly remember the slabs of cold bread pudding that was a pretty normal dessert in our home

Still not somewhere I would consider a beacon of cajun food or culture. You can get pretty much anything they sell at the smaller grocery stores in BR. With that said, I'll concede I haven't been to Veron's in over a decade, so maybe I would be surprised if I walked in now

I googled locations, tit, to make sure I remembered where they were. I grew up on Little Veron's, but sure, I don't know shite

Also, again, which was the second store?

Look, you trolling cock-sucker...

You asked where one could get good boudin in Lafayette, since Comeaux's closed. I provided 4 locations off of the top of my head. Broussard, Youngsville, Scott, Milton, Maurice, Carencro, are all Lafayette at this point.

I left off Johnson's Boucannierre, if you want to say "in city limits", which may be one of the best... hat tip to Billeaud's, which is Broussard.

There hasn't been a decent link of boudin made east of the basin, and my heritage is Pointe Coupee. I lived in BR for 5 years, and you lost the argument on this topic.
