Live PD on A&E is Pissing Me Off

I love this show but I am so fricking sick of the producers purposely make the god damn video skip and buffer, etc. They are doing this on purpose to make the "Live" feel seem more real.
To me, it is ruining the show. How come this never happens on COPS? Sure, I know COPS is not live but they have the same cameras.

Everyone knows they’re on a short delay so they can bleep out foul language and to make sure they don’t end up airing something too crazy for TV.
Because Live PD is sending all the video back to the studio in real time via satellite. COPS isnt
