yes... and that's the dog's owner at the microphones in the pic
Maxine's rescue took up basically a whole hour of Friday night's episode... so yes it became a national story
and then they did a quick interview with the owner during Saturday's show

FYI, ol' girl in TX that was driving the stolen truck is a no go. I even offered an '02 Honda Accord in exchange for bail. No luck.

Damn, that sucks. I was hoping they’d move to a different story every time they showed the dog. It was clearly not going to recover. It was sad to watch.
