MojoGuyPan,

Lol. That's a cute attempt at being witty. How does one act here? I HOPE one doesn't act based on the education system here. It really is bottom barrel. Look it up. Would you prefer I make a table out of alligator hide and a combination of coon skins and rabbit fur?

How does one act like it? Please inform me. Is it by having a yard full of shite? Broken down cars....concrete blocks...toys...bikes...used tires for planters (LMAO!!)....letting my yard get over grown with weeds and not mowing for a month or more...living in a dilapidated house that should have been bulldosed 50+ years ago? That's what the norm seems to be from someone who just moved here. Keep in mind that was even in Mandeville.

Yes, I am a hunter. A big hunter. I have a buck on my wall you'd never be lucky enough to have an opportunity to take. However, what I have in mind is definitely not a hunting camp style.

This is "hunting camp" level of trashy. Live edge came and went quickly, thank god.

If you are going to pray at the alter of Chip and Joanna you're better off with shiplap. Live edge won't fly outside of Waco.

From Twin Peaks to the Davidian Compound you'd be golden. But you're in Louisiana, start acting like it.

You are showing your ignorance son. Better to be quiet and look like a fool, than open your mouth and remove all doubt.

There’s a poster named sparkplug that deals in love edge and he lives in the Northshore. I used to have his contact but I can’t find it. Maybe page him in your title.

Search tigerdroppings for “wood” and review the results. That should get you some hardwood.

Don’t be so sensitive, esp with social media comments. Covington is a fine place to live and the parish has top schools.

this baw wants to call us trashy, but he’s the grown man that can’t afford a house outside of the ghetto

Maybe you should spend less time hunting and more time on making enough money to buy an average value house. Fact is many of us could offer you a fairly insubstantial amount of money and you’d part with that buck in a second

You need to realize that he's better than you are because he just moved here to coonass Hell. Probably from Texas by the sound of it.

I suggest instead of going to the office he should work on an exit plan from this third world shithole.

Broke,

Didn't mean to shite all over it. I had a grandfather that lived in Harrisonburg andI enjoyed when I got to visit. Just was stating what I've seen in response to a comment. The part about the education though is just fact and is easily verified. The whole area we bought in is new houses and though we've only been there a couple weeks now our neighbors seem quite nice. I think on my block alone we have 3 police officers and another military family.

And it may appear so, but I wasn't being sensitive nor was I offended. Just responding. Lol.

And St Tammany parish has A good school or two. It is def not the entire parish. Compared to the area they might have good schools, but that's about it.

I'm just saying you don't walk into your neighbors house and tell him that his choice of furnishings is trashy. And then call his kids stupid. You won't make a lot of friends like this.

I appearently offended people and for that I apologize. I like the people here. So far most seem to be friendly.

I don't think I trashed anyone's home furnishings. That was people trashing my idea for home furnishings even though they had no idea of the plans.

Baw? See my posts above about the school system.

I don't think I'm better than anyone. It comes down to pride maybe? Take pride in your stuff. Mow your yard. Get the cinder blocks out of there. That junked car you think is worth a fortune isn't. Haul it off. That's all I was talking about.

Would I take money for my deer mount? Sure thing. Would it be an insignificant amount for most people? Probably not. Haha.

As far as an exit plan goes, we are only here for 4 years. In about 8 years I will retire at 44 and see what comes next. We are excited to be here and find out what all La has to offer.

I'm paid the same amount regardless of how much time I spend in the office.
